12 Jun Ball of red thread
After the work submission deadline and the physical submission of the ‘box’ I was catching up on life things. I also got to meet Bob which was a highlight.
May and June tend to be rather hectic, looming work deadlines, bank holidays and birthdays. In between all those distractions I got time to work on a watercolour study of a ball of red thread. I’m unsure if it needs a foreground or a surface to sit on…….does it? Feedback welcomed. It’s a tad boring but may come more to life with its companion pieces of the coat study and maybe some embroidery thread.
It’s strange to be aimlessly making after the focus of the Year 1 deadline but cracking on anyway.
