Through the act of making other things become apparent. Objects made during the act of getting ‘it’ out your head. Extraction. These pieces are just the by products of the work flow. They have no actual meaning but they are part of the studio. ‘Making contact’ pieces were a tool during the ‘Echoes’ mono-printing process, recording the trace of all the paint tones used. Softened in texture and worn by usage.
