AAEX Deehub

Collaborative art project for youth group scheduled 2021 [Online over Zoom due to Covid]

Youth Group Creative Arts Workshops

“This is Tomorrow” is a collaborative project between AAEX and Deehub, Ardee, which aims to foster creativity transfer skills and develop a homegrown culture through collaboration and participation in a series of 10 creative art workshops (Spring 2021) with professional AAEX artists Susan Farrelly, Michael Stafford and Niamh O’Connor.

It is an exploration of self, body, memory and landscape using art workshops provided to Youth Groups in the Mid-Louth area (rural), using painting, sewing, dying, drawing, printing and sculpture to connect with ideas about the theme relevant to the group.

It is intended to be a creative and social outlet for the group. Place-Making, as a hands-on approach for improving a neighbourhood, city or region, by inspiring people to collectively re-imagine and reinvent public spaces.
